Special Olympics With Uncle Joe!!

Last weekend, we all took the drive up to Boise to see Uncle Joe play basket ball in the Special Olympics. We loved watching him and cheering for him when he got to take shots... and he made a couple of them too!

We love Joe so much. I am so glad that we are able to spend some time with him. He is the most special person in the world!!!

Fun in the Water!

Today was a beautiful day. We went to the local pool to cool off. Elaina was sooooo happy! She loved the water so much. When she was crawling around in the water, she kept trying to get into the deeper water. I think I pulled her back to us about 20 times!!!

We had to come out of the water for a little while for a safety check. Again, I think I pulled her back to us a bunch of times because she wanted to get back to the water. She is really getting fast on those hands and knees!!

Sweet little Jane was so good. She was hanging out on the shade and didn't complain at all!

Uncle Joe was so brave! He went down the huge slide a bunch of times! He was having so much fun. I love him so much!

Here we are towards the end...the babies were not cooperating very well... Come on you guys!!

Time to go! I love that Lainy can sleep anywhere if she is tired enough. It is so funny!

One Fine Day

Yesterday we made the wonderful drive up to one of my most favorite places:

~ Jackson Hole, Wyoming ~

We decided to make it just like old times by taking a hike up the mountain to find a most breathtaking view. WOW! Standing there and seeing the beauty of the Grand Teton mountain range is an experience that I want to share with all of my family. I will never forget it! I only wish that Danny was standing there beside me. I miss you!!

As you can see, I forgot to pack a sling to carry Lainy in. So, she got packed into a shoulder bag instead. It worked out for the most part...I won't ever do it again though! She was a very good sport about the whole thing.

Sweet Uncle Joe...Lainy loves him so much!!! Joe makes her laugh... he loves to tickle her. She thinks hes is so fun!

I am so grateful to Julie and Scott for taking time to spoil me on that day. I am so blessed to have my family! I love you all so much and I can't imagne my life without you.

Danny ~ I'm sorry that we are not home to celebrate your first Father's Day together. Lainy is the luckiest little girl to have you for her daddy. I love watching you two together because I can see how much you love her. She misses you! We are so blessed to have a righteous man watching over us in our home.

Thank you for being such a great husband. You are the only one who could make me as happy as you do. You help me to be a better wife, mommy and person. I am so grateful that you and I have eternity to continue our happiness and teach our children the gospel. You are everything to me. Know that you are always on my mind and in my heart. Lainy has been having a lot of fun with Aunt Kat's doggy - Kracker. She has lots of fun following her around the house. Last night was so funny... we were all relaxing watching tv and Lainy started laughing so hard! I'm so glad my camera was close. This video is too cute!

We are having a lot of fun. Today we had a picnic at the park. Elaina was loveing the sunshine. She is really growing so fast. She loves to crawl and watch the other kids play. She is also very good at standing up. I love her so much!

Hey Look Daddy!

This week has been very exciting! Yesterday, we drove down to Palm Bay to see our new cousin Cadie. She is so pretty!

Mommy let me drive Daddy! Can you believe it?!... What a rush! Ready or not, here I come!

Then, today Mommy took me to the petshop. I got to pet a real snake! It was so big! Chloe was teaching me how to be brave. She is so cool!

I miss you so much Daddy! I can't wait to see you when I get home!

We had such a fun time nd Lainy was so good! Elaina is now seven months old. I can't believe how fast she is growing. She is starting to crawl as well. Before long, we won't be able to keep up with her!
