Nolan's First Beach Trip

We took the kids to the beach a couple week ends ago... no swimming, but it was still a lot of fun! Lainy loves to play in the sand and see the waves. Nolan was asleep pretty much the whole time. It was really fun to just be there with our sweet little babies!

Nolan is born!

I'm sure you all know by now that our sweet baby Nolan Daniel Roberts is finally with us! We are so happy to have him. He has been the perfect addition to our family. He was born on April 9th, just six minutes before his due date! The birth went beautifully. My sweet husband couldn't have been a better coach. He helped me through the VERY painful labor. He knew just what to say to me to help me stay focused. I love him so much!
Julie was also there.... I loved having her. I am happy that I could share such a special experience with her. Love you sissy!
My labor started around six at night. We were actually having a picnic at a park near by. It was kind of weird to just say 'Ok...lets go home!' instead of 'Ok...lets go to the hospital' ! We picked up Danny from work, dropped Lainy off at Danny's family's house, and then came home. I was surprised that everything went really smoothly. Six hours and my sweet baby was in my arms!! I love him!
Here are a few shots of our special occasion!

Life With My Angel Girl

Along with getting ready for Baby Nolan, I have also tried to make extra time and give attention to Lainy. I had a melt down the other day when it hit me that I won't be all alone with her anymore. We will always have Nolan with us. Now, I know it's not a bad thing. It's just something different that I will get used too.
Actually, when I think anbout it, I went through the same emotional moment right before Elaina came. I was sad that it wouldn't be just Danny and I anymore. But that passed the moment I saw her sweet face. I know it will be the same when I see Nolan.

Elliott and Lainy love to play together! We are so lucky to have Steve and Lori close by. I think I benefit even more because I actually get to talk to someone! Lori is such a good friend and sister! Love you Lori!!
Where's Lainy? Is she hiding behind the chair??
Oh there she is!!! Mommy found you!
See me Mommy!!

The past few weeks have really been fun and memorable with my sweet little girl. She has been taking great naps during the day (which means a great nap for me too!), she is happy most of the time, and she has even been eating better than usual. I love her so much. She is such a blessing in my life!

A Shower for Nolan

We are so excited for our little boy to come to us! Dann'ys little sister Nikki has been so sweet to us. Right when we told her about having another baby she insisted on throwing us a shower. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you Nikki! We love you!

We were also blessed to have a wonderful photographer, Tracy, come to the shower. She captured some really sweet moments of us... guests and all. Here are some of the shots...
I can't tell you why she is making this face... I tried to get her to smile!

This is Nikki and her husband Wade. She is so sweet!!!

Fun Station Fun

About a week ago, Uncle Steve found some sweet coupons for the local mini golf and arcade place here. We all went together... and Steve went everyday that week! (I think Lori was just a little sick of it!) Steve has high hopes getting enough of the tickets to win a PS3. It's really fun watching him play cause he gets super into it! Good luck Steve!
The kids had such a good time. They didn't really get the token concept but they loved playing ON the games! You will see in the pics...

Mini Golf
The hammer... just right for Elli don't you think!?
They found their own way of playing ski-ball
On the Merry-Go-Round... honestly, I couln't tell if they liked this or not. There was no music and the animals didn't move up and down...they just went around about 15 times... But I had fun taking pictures!!!
This might be making her sick, what do you think?
